This multi-acre estate on Sauvie Island focused on a light touch as we wanted to complement the scenic beauty surrounding the garden. Rustic stone steps, walls and a fire circle echoed natural colors and local materials. Tall, loose grasses catch the sunset in the evening and provide all-season interest. Flowering perennials are drought-tolerant and graceful.
